Scotch® Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 is a black polyethylene film reinforced with a saturated crepe paper for outdoor masking and hot air leveling of printed circuit boards. The polyethylene backing is resistant to many solvents, water solutions and emulsions and paint strippers of the wax-base type and the mild caustic solution solvent-emulsion type. Scotch® Solvent Resistant Masking Tape 226 has excellent weathering properties up to three months on all surfaces except Plexiglas. The synthetic rubber adhesive with instant adhesion and good holding power is stain resistant to help minimize labour and reduce rework. This tape has a saturated crepe paper backing that reinforces and controls stretch and tear to help save time.
