3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3779 is a 100% solids thermoplastic, high heat resistant adhesive. It has good electrical properties for potting and wire tacking. The UL 94 is V-0: burning stops within 10 seconds on a vertical specimen and is dispensed with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Hot Melt Applicator TC Q and EC. 3M™ Scotch Weld™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3779 offers strong resistance to heat, impact, fuel, and oil. It is manufactured using 100% solids, thermoplastic resin for use with a 3M™ Scotch Weld™ Hot Melt Applicator. This adhesive offers extreme temperature stability (300°F/149°C) and is excellent for electronics and potting. This product supports high tempo productivity with a 25 second open time that is sufficient for fit positioning and adjusting. In addition, 3M™ Scotch Weld™ Hot Melt Adhesive 3779 TCQ has a low odour to help maintain a comfortable work environment. This product will bond wood, polypropylene, electronics, vinyl and lightweight substrates on furniture, automotive interiors, outdoor applications, small appliances, and general product assembly.
