A non-woven, medium grade, aluminum oxide abrasive product used for cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring applications, the Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Belt Disc is a great general purpose surface conditioning disc that attaches and removes easily to 3M™ Hook and Look Back Up Pads. The belt disc is to be used with right angle random orbital tools. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning discs are available in a variety of grades and sizes, making them a great general purpose conditioning disc and an ideal starting point for cleaning, finishing, blending and light deburring. Discs are made of a tough aluminum oxide abrasive mineral and feature an open-web material that runs cool and resists loading for prolonged operation. The discs are conformable and will condition surfaces without gouging, undercutting or damaging the base material. Discs are suitable for metal, composite, plastics and other materials. They also feature the 3M™ Hook and Look Attachment System that provides fast disc change-out for multi-step finishing applications.
